Aoos lake in dusk

This is an artificial lake, 15km drive, northern of Metsovo village. One of the few times human interference in natural environment proves to be useful both for nature and man.
I tried to reach this lake twice after this months’ snow days with no luck as the road was full of snow and not cleaned off of it until four days later. So not much of snow on the trees in my third visit but a very warm spring afternoon with just enough wind to mess up my mirror lake photo!

Tree on a tree

I was passing by, heading to Acheron river when this tree with that dead ivy on it caught my eye on. So I set my tripod and took the shot. I don’t know if worth it but the fact is I lost 15 minutes of sunset shooting at the river. Actually I had no keepers that day except for this one…

Sarakiniko sunset

I ‘ve been in Parga that day since noon, and later on we decided to visit one of my favorite beaches in the area, called Sarakiniko. Though in summer this place is full of people enjoying sea and sun that late October’s afternoon we found none but peaceful quietness and this beautiful sunset.

Day out

This photo was captured back in March when I was in Igoumenitsa at a friend. We were out for an evening walk and when we came back home I saw this view from the apartments’ window. I’ve never seen the sun that big from this place so immediately I grabbed my camera and tripod and went outside to get the shot…
Since this is my first photo posted here, let it be the header of this blog too!
